Our Bronze award expeditions meet the DofE criteria: one practice and one qualifying expedition.
Practice expedition includes one day supported walking and one day remotely supervised walking with an overnight camp.
Qualifying expedition is two days journeying, for around 6 hours, (remote supervision) and an overnight camp.
Expeditions typically take place in the Clwydian Hills in North Wales or along the Sandstone Trail in Cheshire. Beautiful scenery along the way tends to keep spirits up!
We use tried and tested, private campsites to ensure the best experience for all participants.
As well as providing an expedition to meet your needs we can also offer support in school or your organisation.
Our training package includes campcraft, cooking, first aid and navigation skills and giving advice on equipment and how to prepare for expedition.
All of our dedicated DofE team are highly qualified and experienced outdoor leaders. The team hold BEL (expedition Leader), Lowland Leader, or Moutain Leader qualifications. All members of the team have been DBS checked and have a current first aid certificate.
